Today, my friend and I went to a restaurant called "Zip Zip" near Canal Road Flyover in Causeway Bay for lunch. This restaurant used to be a popular café called "Mamaday" but was renovated and rebranded. The interior design of the restaurant still maintains a trendy and playful style, with plenty of Instagrammable spots both inside and outside the store. It has many large glass windows, providing ample natural light to every seat. The decorations inside the restaurant are filled with colorful design elements. The restaurant specializes in Western-style innovative fusion dishes. The menu offers a variety of options, and the names of the dishes are humorous and witty, making you smile after reading them. The entire environment reflects the effort the owners put into it. It's worth mentioning that the restaurant is pet-friendly, so you may see dogs 🐶 or cats 🐱 inside during your meal. The set lunch includes a starter, where you can choose between soup or salad, a main course, and a beverage (no extra charge for chilled drinks). 🥗 The salad is colorful and thoughtfully prepared, not your typical set lunch salad! It includes dragon fruit, blueberries 🫐, shredded carrots 🥕, and a variety of fresh vegetables 🥬. 🥣 The cream vegetable soup is rich in flavor and has a thick texture. It leaves you eagerly anticipating the main course. ♦️ "Avocado Salmon Pizza - No Interesting Information to Provide" ($138) - The pizza crust is thin and crispy, with the edges being as crunchy as biscuits 😍. It has a layer of soft and melty cheese 🧀 on top, along with fresh avocado 🥑, a hint of purple onion slices 🧅, and smoked salmon 🐟, creating a delightfully rich combination of flavors. ♦️ "Cold Udon with a Very Long Name" ($128) - The udon noodles are springy and generously topped with lots of mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and a dash of pepper for a spicy kick. It's incredibly delicious and offers a rich layer of textures. The fried chicken wings 🍗 are golden and crispy, seasoned to perfection. Taking a break at Zip Zip during your workday allows you to relax in the playful atmosphere surrounded by cute decorations and humorous phrases. Enjoying the food in this lively environment gives you a brief recharge before returning to work with renewed energy. 💪🏻

After work, I wanna chill with friends in cafe, so I chose ZipZip as our dinner. Actually, it used to be the popular Cafe Mamaday. Mamaday's food is known to be good, and ZipZip's menu is similar to Mamaday's. They both specialize in fusion cuisine, and the dishes names are fun. Plus, you can bring your pets along too. Satay Soft Shell Crab Local Shrimp Noodles $142 As soon as it was served, I could already smell the aromatic satay and garlic flavor. They added a generous amount of crab roe, and the highlight is definitely the large soft shell crab. It's crispy and meaty, and when tossed with the noodles, it becomes incredibly flavorful. There are plenty of garlic slices, perfect for those who love strong flavors. Super ablacl Luck Black Ink Risotto $126 This black ink risotto is topped with fried white rice fish. The risotto is moist and rich in ink flavor, and there are some chopped squid inside, adding a nice texture. Tiramisu $58 It's a drink that resembles Tiramisu. There's a thick layer of cocoa powder on top, and they added coffee liqueurs inside. When you drink it, the Tiramisu flavor is very pronounced.

Tried this quirky place which is on the 1st floor. Their menu is fairly extensive with all kinds of Western food from pizza to steak We had the Honey Pork Jowl & Flat Iron Steak, it was really a big portion Also fried fried dough but with a sweet sauce, condensed milk&Pandan. This was a bit strange as this wasn't listed as dessert! Portions was big, cocktails also nice

Food: 4/5 Love the eel with fried egg which is the signature dish here. The egg was creamy and the eel was seasoned. The rice goes very well with katsuobushi too. The pork neck was okay if you want to have pork but the true highlight for the dish is the shrimp cracker. Very tasty. Drinks: 4/5 Highly recommend the not so sweet sweet potato latte. As the name indicates, not too sweet while leaving the spotlight for the sweet potato itself. The matcha latte was just ok, something you could get at another cafe. Service: 4/5 Notes: Highly recommend coming here with a request for seatings by the window if you are here for special occasions since the seatings can be quite limited. And kudos to the interior and menu designers. It really cracked me up

The cafe with many details for taking photo☺️ the homemade purple sweet potato cake is not sweet , soft like cheese cake and top with sweet potato mash. The marshmallow coffee is perfect match, coffee top with burnt melt marshmallow Tips: this is a pet friendly cafe so you may bring your pet to have fun together, break at 4:30pm and open again on 6-10pm Nearby have seafood restaurants and local market for visit 🙂Time square is 3 mins walk
